ヒルトン、ハイアット、IHG、アコーからマリオットゴールドorプラチナへのステータスマッチが2020年8月より開始となりましたのでステータスマッチ申請方法を解説します。承認されると90日間プラチナorゴールド会員となり、この90日間に条件を満たせば2年後の2月まで（2021年に条件を満たした場合は2023年2月まで）ステータスが延長されます。

ステータスマッチとは？
「ステータスマッチ」とは、
あるプログラム（航空会社のマイレージプログラム、ホテルのポイントプログラムなど）の上級会員資格を所持している場合、他の航空会社やホテルグループの会員制度の上級会員資格を条件なしに獲得できる
という制度です。 本来は数多くのフライトや宿泊が必要な上級会員のステータスを無条件で得られる大変お得な制度です。
私は以前マリオットプラチナからヒルトンダイヤモンド会員へのステータスマッチを行い成功したことがあります。詳細については以下の記事をご参照下さい。
また、以前デルタ スカイマイル アメリカン・エキスプレス®・ゴールド・カードを所持しており「デルタ航空ゴールドメダリオン」でしたので、ユナイテッド航空マイレージプラスプレミアゴールドにステータスマッチを申請し成功したことがあります。
現在はデルタゴールドを持っていてもデルタ航空の搭乗実績がなければステータスマッチが認められなかったという報告が散見されますのでご注意ください。

マリオットステータスマッチの概要
今回のマリオットのステータスマッチの内容につき簡単にまとめます。
対象はメンバー、シルバーエリート会員、ゴールドエリート会員
今回はゴールド会員、プラチナ会員へのステータスマッチとなりますのでゴールド会員以下が対象となります。当たり前ですがマリオットボンヴォイプラチナエリート会員、チタンエリート会員、アンバサダーエリート会員は今回は対象外となります。

ヒルトン、ハイアット、IHG、アコーのエリート会員が対象
ステータスマッチ元となるホテルプログラムはヒルトン、ハイアット、IHG、アコーとなります。
それぞれのホテルプログラムの以下の会員が対象となります。

ゴールド会員、ダイヤモンド会員

ゴールドあるいはプラチナエリートへのステータスマッチが可能
今回はステータスマッチ元の会員レベルに応じて、90日間は無条件でマリオットBonvoyゴールドエリート会員、あるいはプラチナエリート会員になることができます
90日間にプラチナ15泊、ゴールド5泊でステータスが2022年2月まで延長
また、このお試し期間ともいえる90日間にゴールドで5泊、プラチナで15泊の宿泊実績を満たすことで、獲得したステータスの期限が2022年2月まで延長となります。
ちなみに、この宿泊実績については「有償宿泊」である必要があります。ポイントでの無料宿泊やカード特典での無料宿泊などは対象外ですのでご注意ください。
もしゴールド5泊、プラチナ15泊の宿泊実績を満たせなかった場合はステータスマッチ前の会員レベル、または対象となる宿泊数の合計に相当する会員レベルのいずれか高い方に戻ります。
Marriott Bonvoy members will receive Platinum Elite status for 90 days (“earning period”) upon registration approval. Member will have 90 days to book and consume 15 eligible paid nights to retain Platinum Elite status until February 2022. After that, Platinum Elite status will be retained by staying the required number of eligible nights under the terms of the Marriott Bonvoy program.

次に上記で選択したステータスを証明するものを添付します。画面のスクリーンショットでOKです。画像はJPG,PNG,PDFのいずれかとなります。名前、現在のステータス、会員番号が入ったものを添付しましょう。

申請から10営業日までにステータスマッチ申請の結果についてマリオットから返信が来るとされています。
ステータスマッチが承認されれば返信の24～48時間後にゴールドまたはプラチナステータスへ表示が切り替わるようです
